Description Very rare 22kt gold pink enamel elephant Moghul bangle !    Here we have an exclusive bangle for you. This is a real moghul treasure crafted in solid 22kt gold and enamelled all over with pink enamel. The most special moghul pieces were ever enamelled in pink. We have been dealing with moghul pieces for the last 13 years and we have seen very few pieces in pink enamel. These are the hardest to come across. The genuine moghul bangles were mainly crafted in two designs, the colorful peacock design and the elephant designs. Many cheap, colorful reproductions were made to imitate them and to differentiate is to look at the quality and color of the enamel.   This bangle is very old and has been with us for the past several years. It was taken very well care by the previous owner and it is in 95%  perfect condition. There are very few minor imperfections only noticeable if you are trained enough and actually look for them. And none that effects its beauty or value. You will NOT find a similar piece anywhere or may be only with the BIG auction houses or may be with some connoissuers or celebrities.   The bangle was crafted in 22kt gold and weighs 58 grams. It is 2.25 inches wide from inside (57mm) and 2.9 inches (74mm) from the outerside. It is about 16.5mm thick. It secures perfectly with a beautifully crafted gold screw. It is set with genuine diamonds which weigh about 1.72 carats.   The two elephants face each other holding the "cup of nectar", the large diamond symbolising the nectar, the "drink of the Gods", believed to sustain life forever. As you can see, the bangle has very intricate carvings on the inside and the outer side which is studded with diamonds. It is not just a bangle but an amazing "work of art", that you would not want to take your eyes off. Please see all the pictures at the bottom of this page.
